Stuart Hillary likes…
To defy ageing by having fun and always seeking new music and people to collab with - manners - integrity - creativity, and innovation

I started DJing…
In 1991 in a club in central Jozi called Mrs. Hendersons.
That led to The Embassy Club in Rosebank, which later became Krypton, which led to me starting Therapy in Rosebank in 1997

Therapy is...
Evergreen...
Remains relevant in its 22nd year
Queer (for everyone) and sexy

My journey in the SA Dance Music industry has...
Been such a rewarding experience...
I have seen our youth culture come together with house music
Traveled far and wide

I’d like to see club nights move towards...
The real underground again... House and Techno risk losing innovation because they have become so mainstream

Electronic music in 2030 looks like…
A blur... No idea...I am not a philosopher, but I do know that it will always come back to house and techno, they will always be around, and that music trends are cyclical. Technological advances make it difficult to predict, and let's hope they don't stifle creativity.

Artists to look out for…
Myself, me and I... No, I am only joking. There really are so many and since the internet almost endless. I just keep doing what I am doing and don't really know what goes on in the wider industry. I seek music with my ears, and they hear and abundance that is available and that keeps me busy enough

Plans for the 2nd half of 2018 are…
Onward, forward, continue...

Stuart brings the heat to Truth this Saturday night in Room Four.
Trust us, you don't want to miss this legend in action. Word.
